About
Soohoon “Ludy” Jeoun.
I just leave my stories in here what I remembered.

When I was a kid, I really loved one of Warcraft III’s user-made custom maps and even tried making one myself, despite knowing almost nothing about it. Fortunately, I found the original creator. When he stopped development to complete his military service, I received permission and some resources to maintain and update it. I enjoyed working on it until high school, and more than 3,000 players signed up as a group member.

I did not care about test scores, so I wanted to learn programming without going to university. After 4 weeks of basic Java/Android training in a government-funded training program during the summer of my 3rd year of high school, I applied for my first job. I asked the interviewer how to fix physics bugs in the game I made for my portfolio. He suggested using a game engine, but I kept learning software skills and business domains through work.
-
I really love Objective-C style coding conventions because they force thoughtful naming when you write code. I actually enjoy naming things.
-
Even though I can speak English and Japanese for communication, I have not studied them that much, so I just use “VIBE-language” and understand only what people want to say.
-
Born in Incheon and moved to Seoul, but I have been living in Incheon again since my late 20s.
-
Kyoto is my favorite city, so I often go there to get inspiration and meet friends, with my Psyducks named “DuckGoo” and “Doongi”.
-
I won as a top-laner in a “League of Legends” in-company tournament, and I got first blood against an Emerald-tier player as the lowest-tier player in the match. (I’m Iron/Bronze.)
